jfkairport.com lists three lots next to the terminals. Each terminal's AirTrain station is next to its short-term parking lot.
The airport's parking page lists the Terminal 1 (Green) and Terminal 7 (Orange) lots as closed and says to use the Terminal 8 Red Lot instead.
The official long-term lot is near the Lefferts Boulevard AirTrain station. According to jfkairport.com:
A reservation-only lot, subject to availability. jfkairport.com says reservations must be made at least 3 hours ahead, no ADA discount is available, and the path to the AirTrain is uncovered.
The booking FAQ says an attendant checks you in and out here, so no QR code is sent. Keep your reservation handy.

Rates may differ at the gate. The figures above are the ones shown on jfkairport.com’s parking page in Oct 2026. The Port Authority’s separate JFK Schedule of Charges (parking section effective May 28, 2026) lists higher drive-up maximums: Blue $94, Yellow $89, Red $74 (with $4 and $8 half-hour rates in the Red Lot), and $55 for the first 24 hours in the Long-Term Lot. We can’t tell from the official sites which set applies on the day you park, so check the rates posted at the lot entrance and the official JFK parking page before you go.

Pick the lot that matches your terminal. jfkairport.com suggests checking your airline's app or flight details, and keeps an airlines list showing which terminal each airline uses.
According to jfkairport.com, the AirTrain is free between terminals and airport parking lots. The $8.75 fare applies only when you enter or exit at Jamaica or Howard Beach stations.
jfkairport.com says E-ZPass can't pay for a prebooked stay. If you prebook and enter through an E-ZPass-only lane, you'll be charged a second fee at exit. Use the lane marked for prebookings.
